We are delighted to announce that we have successfully installed Zeald in fabulous new Head Office premises in Albany.
It’s another huge step forward in the amazing Zeald journey….
We have leased 1200 square meters on the top floor of the first of 11 buildings being developed by Albany City Developments in the new Albany Business Centre.
The building has been named Zeald House and provides the superior working environment that Zeald was looking for. As our CEO David Kelly says, “We see ourselves as a world class business and our premises need to reflect that. As an organisation we want to put our staff first and create a fantastic work place environment.”
The great amenities include a large staff recreation area and various entertainment facilities – like Wii (a video game console), foosball (table football), pool and table tennis tables . There will also be a quiet reading area with sofas for people to chill out in their lunch breaks. The team is also enjoying the ample parking that is available!
Zeald House features several green building initiatives including recycled rain water, bicycle racks, showers on each level, tinted glass to ensure more efficient air conditioning and full length glazing to reduce artificial lighting. Other tenants include a childcare centre and café.
Zeald House is very conveniently located near the Albany motorway off ramp (at Greville Road) and its placement on Corinthian Drive means the Zeald brand will be visible from the Northern Motorway. It is close to central Auckland for client meetings and to the North Shore public transport system, which is an added convenience for our staff.

….it all began in a home office eight years ago. Three young guys from Mangawhai Heads - David and Brent Kelly and their cousin Hamish Braddick - had very little capital, but possessed huge energy, determination and a bold vision: to build a ‘world-class’ company that helped small to medium sized businesses develop highly successful websites.

…in 2001, with some ‘arm-twisting’ and smooth talking, they were accepted into Massey University’s E-Centre - a business incubator located on Massey University’s Albany campus. And so Zeald found itself with its first ‘official’ physical premises. The E-Centre provided vital support as the company navigated the highs and lows of business development and growth.

…by October 2006, the Zeald team had expanded considerably and we were more than ready to graduate into the wider business community. Zeald re-located into new premises at Tawa Drive Office Park, fully expecting to be based there for at least four years. But our expansion continued at a rapid rate. In October 2007, with growth of almost 400% in a three year period, Zeald was ranked 19th fastest growing business in the Deloitte/ Unlimited Fast 50 awards. By mid 2008, the Head Office team had increased to 31 and we were bursting at the seams! It was time to start looking for new premises once again…..

….which has brought us to our fabulous new location at Zeald House, 51 Corinthian Drive, Albany.
It’s a big bold move this time, as we are planning for the long term. We believe that we have sufficient space for the next nine years!
There is still a long way to go in reaching our Big Hairy Audacious Goal of being a world wide, world class provider of online solutions. We are extremely proud of the journey we have taken so far and the businesses we have helped along the way. We believe that we have the people, the passion and the commitment to achieve our bold vision ….…so watch this space!
