I know the importance of working with a good website company because my last experience didn't go well at all. As a result I explored quite a few avenues this time round. In comparison to my previous experience, there is so much about Zeald that stands out. Whenever I need something I can get on the phone at any time. There's always someone there who's able to answer your questions and get things fixed. I'm not very tech savvy either, so it's so nice being able to explain things to people who are patient. Every time I've rung it actually seems like people enjoy their jobs! The ongoing email updates are great too and I enjoy reading them.
Something else I appreciate about Zeald, as far as me being a new business, is that I know I can take it further later on. As far as what Zeald can offer, I picked a few basic things for my site and it's great to know can that I can keep adding on, in the future. Set prices are important too and this is something that Zeald offers. Again, dealing other companies, they pick the price out of a bucket you don't know what it's really meant to cost. "It's such a valuable thing to get good advice. Of course you always want to do it 'your way', so to have someone who's able to say why a different way might work, and be convincing, is great.
I imagine the dating business isn't the usual business that my E-Business Consultant, Sam Fairhall, would deal with either. And yet Sam got a pretty good handle straight away. He really understood the way that I'm approaching an established market, in a brand new way. I liked that Sam gave me advice that was different than I'd anticipated. It really flipped my concept, of how to get good traffic, on the head!
The design Zeald have created for me is brilliant too. It had the impact I wanted, the professionalism and even the colours I wanted. It was better than I imagined actually. It certainly had the 'Wow!' factor. As soon as I opened that first draft I thought to myself "This is going to take me to the next stage". There was nothing airy fairy about it and, again, I really liked the recommendations they made. Things I'd never have done before, that have worked really well. This is the same response I'm getting from people when they first see it too.
As you move through the process of loading, the support that's provided via email and in the 'online help' is excellent. The tone of the emails is really lovely - and I like how Zeald makes plenty of suggestions that help lead you through the process. The system itself is simple to use. If you have some computer 'know how' you're right. For those who don't have that 'know how' there's always the option of purchasing extra support from Zeald such as content loading or copy writing. There's something there for everyone.
I haven't needed to use Zeald's Support team much. Both times I've called, I've had excellent help and both people knew exactly what I was talking about. Very helpful and things got sorted out straight away. The Support is a lot better that most businesses you ring!
I definitely recommend Zeald. I feel I've had good value for money and I've gotten exactly what paid I for - a simple site done really, really well. They're a group of young, dynamic people who do what they say they can do, in timely fashion and produce a good result....and that's what all business is about isn't it?!"

Once we'd planned our new website, we found the design process really good and easy. It was nice being able to have a design meeting remotely and we were pleased with the end result.
Initially, the thought of managing your own content seems pretty daunting. However, as you start to work through the process, you soon see the benefits of controlling things yourself. To give this context, I'd previously met Rose when she conducted an audit of the Website my previous employer used. I was very impressed with Rose back then, so when it came time to create my own website, my first inclination was to call her. Then I was told about a provider who could apparently provide everything I needed for an extremely low cost. As a start-up business with very limited capital, I naturally checked out my options. However, Rose’s knowledge and passion convinced me to stay with my initial instinct and to use the services of Zeald, who could meet all my immediate needs – and grow my site as I grow Changing Jobs.
Rose was so passionate about what I could do with my website and it was clear that she genuinely cared about my business. "I was pretty hooked on Zeald reasonably early on, because they're one of the only website providers that's focused on actual business and sales rather than just a 'website'. Now that the site is up and running it's going well and enquiries are coming through.
Our E-Business Consultant Rachel Bauer has been really good. She's bubbly, friendly, does a good job and explains things well - no problems at all. The Design team came up with a look and feel that was pretty 'spot on' first up. This allowed us to focus on editing the content to ensure we could convey the best message about the business.
The site itself is good and easy to edit, it's powerful and it looks pretty future proof too. The little chat box at the bottom of the website is useful. While you're working on the your site you can easily type a question and get an answer 'then and there' instead of waiting on the phone.

"In 2009 our organisation had made plans to update our redundant website and purchase a server to create our own intranet. When Zeald representative Alan Gregory contacted me I realized that for the same price I could complete a brand refresh as well and create a completely new, modern website with the capacity to host an intranet for our staff and Board members to access.
We selected Zeald because apart from being competitively priced, it gave us access to a team of designers, access to technical support, the option of loading content ourselves, complete access to update our website whenever we wished and the security of a server with good back up systems which is regularly tested against viruses and hackers.
When our brand refresh exercise was completed we sent the Zeald design team our brand guidelines and a comprehensive brief on what we wanted to achieve with our website as well as the essential look and feel of the site.
