Michelle Abercrombie - A Biography

Michelle was born and raised on the North Shore in Auckland.  She is the youngest of three girls.  

After leaving school she worked in a few different jobs, including banking, project coordinating in the signage industry, and PA for the Professional Department at FujiFilm.

Whilst working at Fuji during the era of the first digital cameras arriving into New Zealand, she undertook extramural study in computer graphic applications which led to her being offered the position of ‘Product Specialist’ for the Electronic Imaging department.

After working for Fuji for several years, an opportunity arose to move to a more application and training focused role with Flint Ink as their ‘Application Specialist’, within the Electronic Prepress division.  She was responsible for software installation, training and ongoing support of all Scitex equipment throughout New Zealand. 

Michelle lives with her husband and two children in Takapuna.  They love being close to the beach and sea and enjoy getting out on the boat as often as they can. 

They’ve recently expanded their family, by the addition of a new puppy that everyone has fallen in love with.  A whole new ‘dog’ world has opened up to them.
