Rachel Bauer - A biography

Rachel is a wealth of knowledge on what Zeald has to offer and is brimming with real life examples of the business success it has brought to others in the Waikato.

After graduating from Waikato University with a Bachelor of Communication Studies (majoring in Marketing and Public Relations) Rachel started off working for Tauranga company Seeit. In this role she was charged with managing and updating a range of websites, both their own and clients. This gave her the opportunity to explore and compare a diverse range of CMS packages and it soon became obvious to her that the Zeald system was head and shoulders above the rest. She become passionate about what Zeald offer clients – the functionality and flexibility of their system as well as the professionalism of the team.

It was therefore a no brainer when her boss and Zeald E-Business Consultant for the Bay of Plenty Michelle Whitmore offered her the position of Waikato E-Business Consultant at the end of 2008. Rachel felt more than ready for the challenge and excited about sharing her knowledge and passion with business owners about Zeald websites, which she knows firsthand can provide great results.

Rachel decided to bite the bullet making the move from Tauranga to Hamilton in 2010 and hasn’t looked back! She is regularly out at networking events, enjoying the opportunity to get out and meet new people and talk with them about their business and website. Whether a start up or existing business, Rachel strives to add value to your business and loves to see her clients excitement when they reach their goals. Her marketing experience means that she can give clients some great ideas and allows her to be objective, looking at the holistic situation and for the best solutions.

"....I was pretty hooked on Zeald reasonably early on, because they're one of the only website providers that's focused on actual business and sales rather than just a 'website'. Now that the site is up and running it's going well and enquiries are coming through.

Our E-Business Consultant Rachel Bauer has been really good.  She's bubbly, friendly, does a good job and explains things well - no problems at all.  The Design team came up with a look and feel that was pretty 'spot on' first up.  This allowed us to focus on editing the content to ensure we could convey the best message about the business.

The site itself is good and easy to edit, it's powerful and it looks pretty future proof too.  The little chat box at the bottom of the website is useful.  While you're working on the your site you can easily type a question and get an answer 'then and there' instead of waiting on the phone.
