Each of us spends a significant amount of our lives at work. It is important to everyone at Zeald that time spent at work is happy, enjoyable, and fulfilling. Zeald is not just about the 'almighty dollar'. It is not just about making money at the expense of everything else (although obviously making money is still very important.) Zeald is about providing an environment that everyone involved with the company enjoys on a day-to-day basis.
Zeald, at its very foundation, is based on honesty, integrity, and respect. We practice these principles throughout our working day. We treat everyone we interact with, with courtesy and respect; recognising each other's skills and shortcomings. (Many of our commitments to respecting each other as individuals are summed up in our Courtesy System.)
We are a group of positive and passionate, solution orientated individuals. We recognise the damage that negative, critical attitudes and a continual focus on the 'problems' rather than on the 'solutions' have on ourselves and everyone else around us. We recognise that positive and passionate people are well liked, well respected, highly successful and enjoyable to be around.

We strive to continually improve, both ourselves individually, and the areas of the business that we are working within. Our goal as an organisation is to be nothing short of 'world-class'. We embrace change and consistent improvement and innovation. Systems form the foundation of everything we do. We follow the system and we each take responsibility for continuing to develop and improve the systems that we work with. If a problem arises we look to blame a system before we blame a person; we look for a system resolution before we look for a people resolution.
As individuals, we are accountable to each other and to ourselves; and are directly responsible for our own actions and performance. We take ownership of our roles and responsibilities; and what we commit to, we deliver. We take responsibility for our knowledge and skills. The team leader or manager is not the only expert. If they are - we have too few experts! We recognise that we are part of a team, and if we as an individual fail to perform, the team suffers and has to work harder to make up for our failure to perform.
If we have an issue or a concern with someone or something we carefully think through the issue and come up with possible solutions to the issue. We then privately communicate the issue to the person or people concerned, and discuss it in an open way; outlining what we see as resolutions to the issue.  When we are wrong we don't hesitate to acknowledge the mistake quickly and sincerely, to make it right. If we can't resolve the issue we ask for help from a neutral third party (a manager or another colleague.)

At Zeald we the team always comes first. We have a great work culture and an amazing team that works together to make Zeald the success it is. Our offices are north of Auckland in Albany and Orewa, and we have some team members based throughout New Zealand, Australia, and the Philippines.
