NZ website company Zeald invests in growing software company
Fast growing New Zealand website design company, Zeald, announced today it was making a strategic investment in the emerging cloud application development industry by purchasing a 49 percent stake in Twiik (pronounced “tweak”), an Auckland-based start-up company specialising in custom web-based software solutions for New Zealand businesses.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Zeald opening a new office in Christchurch earlier this month, and it plans to expand across the Tasman into Sydney later this year.
David Kelly, Zeald Chief Executive, says the investment in Twiik is a key part of its growth plans for this year.
“This is an exciting development for Zeald, which aims to complement our already strong position as New Zealand’s leading website development company. Together with Twiik, we will continue to help New Zealand businesses of all sizes thrive with market leading online solutions”, says David Kelly.
The partnership enables Zeald to guide Twiik, with their thirteen-year market knowledge and expertise, and grow it as a complementary “sister company”. Zeald will retain its own market focus on New Zealand and Australian businesses and continue to deliver real results for its website customers.
In just under thirteen years, Zeald has grown to become the market leader in website development, with over 3,000 clients.
