An Effective Web Page Design Must be Search Engine Friendly

Search engines can send lots of free targeted traffic to your web site. But in order to do this, they must be able to analyse your web page design.

Many web page designs contain elements that prevent a search engine from analysing them.

Web page links need to be accessible to a search engine. They need to be text-based, written in standard HTML code. Use of technologies like Flash and JavaScript can cause search engine problems. CSS can be used to style page elements so that they can be used in a way that provides meaning, for the search engines. Crucial site content needs to be placed as close to the top of the page as possible (in the code), and database-driven web pages need to be published as static HTML.
